How Can I Get My Healing From God?
By Paul Norcross
God bless you mightily in the name of Jesus Christ, our healer. As we develop an understanding from the Scriptures concerning how to access our promised healing from God, we are faced with a number of spiritual dilemmas. How can it be that healing is such a prominent part of the Bible, and we encounter marvelous stories of people being healed by God, and yet where are those miracles and gifts of healings when we need them?

"THE 23RD CHANNEL"
(author unknown)
The TV is my shepherd, I shall want.
It makes me lie down on the sofa.
It leads me away from the scriptures.
It destroys my soul.
It leads me in the path of sex and violence,
for the sponsor's sake.
Yea, though I walk in the shadow of my Christian responsibilities,
there will be no interruption,
For the TV is with me.
It's cable and remote, they control me.
It prepares a commercial before me in the presence of worldliness;
It anoints my head with Humanism,
My coveting runneth over.....
Tithes & Offerings Today: The Significance of Giving To God
By Paul Norcross
We often hear that the tithe is Old Testament, and that it is no longer required in the New Testament. Usually developed in the vocabulary of being led by the Spirit to give in the New Testament (which of course is very good!), nevertheless I have never seen a proponent of this view ever faithfully give by the Spirit of the Lord. Usually, their giving degenerates to greed, and instead of God getting their first fruits – even if only out of duty to law – He gets little or none at all.
Why We Must Remain One Nation Under God
It was sweltering hot during the summer of 1787 in Philadelphia. The Revolutionary War had closed with victory four years earlier – a victory on the narrowest margins, sustained by nothing short of crucial and miraculous divine interventions. Now came the task of writing a constitution for the new United States. Polarized with long, blistering hot days of wrangling, the weary convention delegates were beginning to give up in disgust.
Teens, Sex, and Parenting
January 17, 2006
Dear Saints,
God bless you and greetings to you in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ. I recently had occasion to counsel with a lady about issues with her teenage daughter. The following letter seemed to have some worthwhile elements that I thought you might find useful, or at least thought provoking. So I wanted to submit it to you for your blessing. May the Lord help us all raise our children for His glory! If you have any insight or comments, please feel free to tell me. This is an exploratory thought process. Often newsletters start this way, and it's fun seeing where the Lord leads!
With much love in Him,

Why 9-11?
Dearest Saints of God,
September 2001
God bless you and greetings you in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ, our King, our Savior, our brother, our friend, and our First Love.
Almost everyone in both the United States as well as around the world has been dealing with the nagging question, “Why?” concerning the terrorist attacks against the World Trade Center buildings and the Pentagon. As national emotions swing through horror, sorrow and mourning, rage and revenge, it falls upon not just the pastors to search God and His Scriptures in prayer to receive an acceptable answer.

Dear Saints,
I recently received the following in an e-mail, and thought it was worth a comment or two. First, the e-mail:
Joe Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock (MADE IN JAPAN) for 6am. While his coffeepot (MADE IN CHINA ) was perking, he shaved with his electric razor (MADE IN HONG KONG ). He put on a dress shirt (MADE IN SRI LANKA), designer jeans (MADE IN SINGAPORE) and tennis shoes (MADE IN KOREA ). After cooking his breakfast in his new electric skillet (MADE IN INDIA) he sat down with his calculator (MADE IN MEXICO) to see how much he could spend today. After setting his watch (MADE IN TAIWAN) to the radio (MADE IN INDIA) he got in his car (MADE IN GERMANY) (filled it with GAS from Saudi Arabia) and continued his search for a good paying AMERICAN JOB.
